Bharat Aadhaar Seeding Enabler (BASE)

The National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) has launched “Bharat Aadhaar Seeding Enabler (BASE)”, an online platform to facilitate the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) program by enabling citizens to carry out Aadhaar Seeding / De-seeding and other key actions in a secure self-service digital mode.

Activities You Can Perform on the BASE Platform

Check Status

Easily check your current Aadhaar mapping status linked with your bank.

Check History

View and verify your historical Aadhaar mapping logs with various records.

Aadhaar De-Seeding

Remove or de-seed your Aadhaar mappings from designated active portal accounts.

Aadhaar Seeding

Choose from 3 primary Seeding Type actions:

Fresh Seeding
Movement (within the same bank to another account)
Movement (from one bank to another)

How to Use the BASE Facility

Follow these direct steps on the NPCI gateway to execute BASE online services:

Step 1

Go to the official NPCI website: www.npci.org.in

Step 2

Click on the “Consumer” Tab on the top menu.

Step 3

Select and click on “Bharat Aadhaar Seeding Enabler (BASE)”.

Step 4

Choose from the listed services per your specific requirements to complete your request.
